ခ်စ္ျခင္းကိုစိတ္မေလးပါနဲ ့ သစ္ပင္ဆိုသစ္ရြက္ေတာ့ရွိေနမွာပါတဲ့
ငယ္ရြယ္ရူးသြပ္တဲ့ငါ လက္မခံႏိုင္ခဲ့

ျမစ္နံေဘးကလြင္ျပင္မွာခ်စ္သူနဲ ့အတူရပ္ခဲ့ၾက
ႏွင့္ပြင့္လိုျဖဴတဲ့လက္ဖ၀ါးေလးေတြကို ငါ့ပုခံုးေပၚမွာသူတင္တယ္
ဘ၀အတြက္ရင္မေလးပါနဲ ့ ေရတံခါးမွာမွာရွင္ေနတဲ့ျမက္ပင္ေတြလိုပါတဲ့
ငယ္ရြယ္ရူးသြပ္ျပီး လက္မခံႏိုင္ခဲ့တဲ့ငါ အခုေတာ့မ်က္ရည္မ်ားစြာနဲ ့ပါ။

Down by the salley gardens my love and I did meet;

She passed the salley gardens with little snow-white feet.

She bid me take love easy, as the leaves grow on the tree;

But I, being young and foolish, with her would not agree.
